My Power On™ Story

I Became My Own Teaching Story.

Four Weeks Two Day

My Story

On October 15, 2025, my life changed in an instant.

I was outside playing tag with Meadow, my 120-pound rescued Neapolitan Mastiff.

One accidental collision.

One split second.

One tibial plateau fracture.

I was home alone.

The pain was immediate.

I couldn’t stand.

I couldn’t walk.

I couldn’t even reach my phone.

What followed was an ambulance ride, orthopedic appointments, conversations about surgery, months of recovery, and a prediction that I could be facing up to eight months before returning to normal activities.

For the first time in my career, I wasn’t the practitioner.

I was the patient.

And something unexpected happened.

I became my own teaching story.

For nearly two decades, I had taught people about the body’s ability to adapt, recover, and heal.

I had taught principles rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I had taught the importance of mindset, consistency, community, and daily habits.

Now it was my turn to live it.

Instead of asking:

“Why did this happen to me?”

I began asking:

“What is this experience here to teach me?”

Every day I intentionally supported my recovery using the same principles I had spent years teaching others.

Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Acupressure.

Visualization.

Movement.

Faith.

Community.

Gratitude.

And wearable wellness technology.

Not as a miracle.

Not as magic.

But as simple tools used consistently.

One day at a time.

One choice at a time.

One step at a time.

Four weeks and two days later, I was walking.

I never had surgery.

I never took pain medication.

And I was discharged from my orthopedic surgeon’s care months earlier than expected.

But the greatest lesson wasn’t about my knee.

It was about trust.

Trusting the process.

Trusting my body.

Trusting God.

Trusting that small actions repeated consistently matter more than dramatic actions taken occasionally.

That experience reinforced everything I had spent years teaching.

The body was designed to adapt.

The body was designed to communicate.

The body was designed to heal.

Most people have simply forgotten how to listen.

God gave us light.

And through this experience, I focused on reminding my body of the brilliance it was designed to express.

No drugs.

No medication.

No waiting for someone else to save me.

Just intentional action, daily support, and trust in the body’s God-given wisdom.

That experience deepened my belief in the principles that now support POWER ON™.

Not a treatment.

Not a promise.

An activation.

A reminder that small actions repeated consistently can create extraordinary change.

POWER ON™ combines simple daily wellness practices, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, wearable wellness technology, education, mentorship, and community support.

Because lasting change doesn’t happen when we know more.

It happens when we do more.

The question is no longer:

“What’s wrong with me?”

The question becomes:

“What area of my life is ready to POWER ON™?”

Health.

Energy.

Recovery.

Purpose.

Confidence.

Finances.

Relationships.

Faith.

My injury may have lasted four weeks and two days.

The lesson will stay with me forever.

Small actions matter.

Community matters.

Consistency matters.

Faith matters.

And sometimes the greatest breakthroughs come when we stop asking:

“Why is this happening?”

and start asking:

“What is this here to teach me?”

That lesson now lives inside everything we do at G.A.L.S.™.
